Digital health technologies hold tremendous promise, however, going from concept to product implementation is complex and fraught with difficulties. To help professionals with an interest in digital health technologies navigate this rapidly developing field effectively, this short course will provide an overview of the digital health landscape and common commercial models, a review of the current regulatory environment for medical software products, a framework for implementation success, and a focused discussion on build versus buy decisions within the pharmaceutical industry.
